We have had an interesting 10 days. We got a call on the 18th of December from Catholic Charities saying that they have a little boy that was born on the 15th, and wanted to know if we were interested. They told us to think about it and call them in the morning to let them know our answer. We actually called back about an hour later and said "yes". At first, we only told our parents because with adoption there is always the chance things won't work, but as we attended Christmas parties, word slowly kept leaking out and by Sunday a lot of family and friend knew about Jordan. His birthmother gave him the name Chance Joel. We wanted him to have some type of connection with his biological family so we decided on Jordan Chance.
